No one knows when the pandemic emergency will end, and we simply cannot afford to keep our health care providers and businesses in legal limbo for an indefinite period of time.
The more quickly the Legislature can act and get this bill to the Governor’s desk, the better it will be for the health care workers taking care of us and the businesses trying to provide the jobs and goods and services that we all need.
This legislation is crucial both to our economic recovery and our getting back to normal life. We simply can’t afford to make the pandemic crisis worse by adding a litigation crisis to it.
